This property was purchased in Central Florida because of this beautiful pond. It is approximately 2 acres in size and contains all sorts of Pond Wildlife. These creatures must have a safe place to thrive in this day and age. The constant threat of overpopulation and land development is causing a mass exodus of creatures moving in search of a safe haven. All to often dead turtles are seen on the roads. Also amphibians are being driven to extinction.

This is the safe haven that creatures need!! A clean healthy pond in its natural environment needs only one thing...the absence of mankinds influence. No spraying for mosquitoes, no air boats crashing through the grass, no water run off channels dug this way and that, no back hoes digging the peat moss out for profit, no filling it with trash and building home sites on it. In its natural state a pond cleans the air, removes pollution, and provides a home for countless plants and animals. This property needs to be secure so that mankind can never disrupt the harmony that this ecosystem enjoys. Save The Pond has vowed to manage and protect the property so that future generations and these creatures can rest assured that this pond will be safe. We cannot do it alone, we need your help!

Please help us save this one pond. See what you would be protecting...
Protect the home of the Frogs!

At night you can hear all the frogs in the pond happily chirping and croaking. Frogs can only survive in a healthy ecosystem. They are major indicators of the health of the environment.
